FIBRE BIAB™ — FAQs
What is Fibre BIAB™?
Fibre BIAB™ is our next-generation builder gel, reinforced with microscopic fibres dispersed throughout the formula. It's TPO & HEMA-free and designed to deliver enhanced strength, improved stress distribution, and excellent self-levelling — all in one product.
How is it different from regular BIAB™?
Fibre BIAB™ integrates micro-reinforcing fibres into the gel matrix. Once cured, these fibres act as internal micro-anchors that distribute stress across the coating, helping prevent cracking, structural collapse, and lifting from excessive flex. Think of it as reinforced gel architecture — similar to how fibres strengthen composite materials in engineering. As a TPO & HEMA-free formula, this BIAB ™ can be used on clients with sensitivities or allergies to products whilst still maintaining the strength from regular BIAB ™.
Does it need a base coat?
Fibre BIAB™ has a built-in base, so many techs won't need a separate base coat. However, depending on your clients nail chemistry or requirements you have the flexibility to layer over an additional base such as Bond Base or Rubber Base if necessary. For a fully HEMA-free system, use Bond Base.
Does it cure clear?
Yes — Fibre BIAB™ cures completely clear. You may notice fibres are visible during application; this is completely normal. They work within the product, not on top of it, and will need light refinement before applying colour or top coat. You may need to lightly refine the surface of Fibre BIAB ™ once cured to ensure the surface is smooth as some fibres can cure upright.
Will I feel heat spikes?
Fibre BIAB™ has been formulated for minimal heat spikes. We recommend using your lamp on low heat mode for best results.
Is it HEMA-free?
Yes. Fibre BIAB™ is both TPO and HEMA-free, designed to deliver high-performance wear without relying on HEMA.
How long does it last?
In our independent study, techs reported no chipping within 4 weeks when the product was applied correctly. As one tester put it: "The nails felt very strong after application."*

How do I remove it?
Fibre BIAB™ soaks off easily with TGB Acetone — typically around 15 minutes. As one of our panel said: "Amazing how it soaks! So easily after 15 mins in acetone."
What's new about the brush and cap?
Fibre BIAB™ features a brand new C-curve shaped brush for precision application and a clean apex. The brush also includes a built-in anti-leak plug — two upgrades we think you'll notice immediately.
What are the fibres in Fibre BIAB™ made from?
Fibre BIAB™ is reinforced with Nylon-66 microfibres. These ultra-fine fibres are dispersed evenly throughout the gel, forming an internal support network once cured to help resist flexing, cracking and breakage.
Where is it made?
Fibre BIAB™ is proudly manufactured in the UK, formulated in-house at DK Beauty Labs.
What shades are available?
Fibre BIAB™ launches in Clear — and this is just the beginning. Watch this space!
Has it been independently tested?
Yes. Fibre BIAB™ has been through independent regulatory testing and meets full EU and UK compliance standards. Our testing panel agreed across the board on self-levelling, curing performance, and recommendation intent — and the results speak for themselves.
Does it self-level well?
Exceptionally. Our testing panel consistently highlighted smooth application, quick levelling and easy apex creation. As one of our panel put it: "The viscosity is excellent. It is very easy to control, doesn't run into the sidewalls, and self-levels beautifully."
